Cubs are typically youth aged from 8 to 11, some who have either come up through Joeys or are entering Scouts for the first time.

Cubs Scouts are:

• Creating their own paths

• Developing their sense of place

• Exploring the world around them

• Encountering new experiences

• Expanding perspectives

• Determining their own adventures

• Building upon friendships

Their time in this section helps grow the Cubs to the point that they are comfortable planning and running their own activities as part of their program as part of a safe and supportive community.
